Our website mission at P&CR.Org is to promote and sustain an end to armed conflict by enabling willing individuals to encourage religious leaders to organize and engage in high profile East-West cultural and religious dialogue to further understanding and resolve differences.
We seek to help build a pathway to a golden age of understanding and peace.
The great majority of Eastern Muslims seek much the same for themselves that Westerners have built and enjoy. We strive to insure that this website in some obvious manner intervenes upon the destructive processes of war while enabling the Western World to retain its cherished values yet reconcile its differences with Eastern cultures.
We function in the belief that the old dichotomy of Faith vs. Reason (religious vs. secular) can find working common ground for the benefit of the great majority. How do you and I engage the world in our busy lives for peaceful resolutions to world conflicts on the one hand while we insure the preservation of our cherished Western values of personal liberty, freedom of speech, freedom of worship, the rule of law, and democratic processes on the other hand? Part of the answer is to help bring about the West - East high level, symbolic, religious dialogue not to change religious beliefs, but to alter some religious practices.
